Hey everyone! Don't you love the new Blue Winter Holidays template? I certainly do! As many of you know, the holidays bring lots of change, especially New Year's Day. What I like to do during New Year's Eve is write down goals I'd like to accomplish by the end of the next year. Some of my goals for the new year are: getting high grades in school, scoring tons of goals in soccer, and maintaining first chair for flute in band.
I personally believe December is the time when people are the most happiest and the most stressed. People are cheerful because they get to enjoy the holidays with family and friends, but they are also very stressed out because of all the Christmas shopping, house decorating, and gift wrapping they have to do. Though it takes a ton of work to get everything ready for the holidays, I absolutely love gathering around the fireplace with my family to play games, eat sweet treats, and open presents.
Christmas is a fun and exciting holiday that the majority of the world celebrates. However, there are some people out there who believe in Christmas, but don't have the opportunity to celebrate it. I encourage everyone reading this blog post to make someone else's Christmas wonderful. You could adopt a family for the holidays or give gifts to a local charity that will pass out the presents to families in need. This year, my homeroom in school signed up to buy presents for a little boy in need, so we all brought in fun games and toys for the Good Fellows charity to give him on Christmas Eve. This year I also rang bells in front of JC Penney for 2 hours to help raise money for the Salvation Army with some of my friends from my National Junior Honor Society group. Everyone deserves the chance to have a happy holidays, so make sure to help someone in need have an awesome Christmas!
Thankfully, my family and I are heading to a warmer area this winter. In a couple days, we are travelling to Florida to visit my grandparents! I think it's going to be a really fun trip for my family because we'll get to spend time with my grandma and grandpa and we'll probably get to visit beaches and fun places in Florida as well!
Unlike Herbie, I have a pretty large Christmas Wish List this year. These are the main gifts I want from my parents this Christmas:
1. A Rubik's Cube
2. An Aeropostale Gift Card
3. An Abercrombie Gift Card
4. An iTunes Gift Card
5. A Digital Camera
As you can see, I'm currently really into gift cards, but hey, I think gift cards are great presents because they allow a person to get whatever they want within a certain amount from a store! Haha, I'm asking for a Rubik's cube this year because I've always wanted to spend hours trying to solve one!
Thanks so much for getting us 9 comments on our last blog entry. We really appreciate you guys taking time to read our blog and post comments! Here are some questions for ya'll to answer if you want to!
Questions
1. What are some goals you'd like to accomplish in 2010?
2. What have you done at any point in your life to give someone else a happy holidays?
3. What is your favorite part of Christmas?
4. What is your favorite Christmas present you've ever received?
5. Have you ever solved a Rubik's cube?
Hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Hey everyone! Now I know what you are thinking, why does the site look so different? Well, we decided to totally change the website for the new year! Since 2010 is quickly approaching and we are currently on Winter Break, we thought it would be a great idea to edit and change the website a bit! What has changed?
There's a lot more that we've changed, but that's for you to figure out by viewing the site. We are really excited about updating the site more and more each day. We've planned to add some reviews, contests, and articles during Winter Break, so look out for a lot of new content on the website by looking at the "Recent Updates" section on the sidebar!
As we all know, Christmas is around the corner and the holiday festivities have begun! People are decorating their houses with colorful lights, baking yummy treats, blowing up snowman inflatables in their yards, and buying friends and family presents. Now I'm not a greedy girl, but I usually always have a couple items on my Christmas Wish List for my parents to get me. This is my 2009 Christmas Wish List:
1. A one year subscription to any of the following magazines: Twist, BOP, or Tigerbeat.
2. A trip to Aeropostale with a budget of $100.
3. An iTunes $10-$20 gift card.
As you can see my Christmas Wish List isn't too large. I usually never ask for too many presents because I'm not the kind of person who asks for so much stuff. I just ask for what I really want and what I think I will actually use. But Christmas isn't just about presents. This Christmas, my family is just staying at home and relaxing. We were planning on going to California to visit my aunt and uncle, but they are busy during this time, so we decided to take it easy and stay at home this Christmas. However, one exciting thing I am doing this Christmas is cutting and donating my hair. In the summer of 2008, I cut my hair 18 inches and donated it to Locks of Love. Before 2010 starts, I'm going to cut and donate about 10-12 inches of my hair. I have pretty long hair, so even after cutting 10-12 inches I bet my hair will still be longer than most of my classmates and friends.
Well I've got to go eat dinner now, so I'll leave you with some questions. Please answer them if you'd like to!
Questions:
1. Do you like the Blue Winter Holidays template?
2. What's on your Christmas Wish List?
3. What are your plans for Christmas?
4. When was the last time you cut your hair?
5. Have you ever donated your hair? If yes, how many inches did you donate?
6. How often do you think we should blog?
Happy Holidays!
~ Herbie ~
